Remembering 9-11

Let Freedom Ring! Our nation celebrated its birthday July 4...here's to another 200+ years of America's birthday...let that bell resonate loudly...we are a free nation under God!

The last blog posted was titled All eyes to the skies...
Here it is September 11, 2011... and our eyes should still be to the skies, but for a different reason; to thank God our nation has remained safe for the past 10 years. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for other countries around the world, nor for our soldiers. This has been a costly war - and what war isn't?
Lord, please keep our nation a free. Our forefathers said it best with, "One nation under God...."
Our country experienced a surge of patriotism and cohesiveness after the attacks...With all the specials on the television honoring those who lost their lives you could see there was a lot of good and generosity especially with the first responders who gave all.
Today at 2:00 p.m. there will be a program at the Valentine Fire Hall honoring all our emergency personnel. Hopefully, you can attend.
Meanwhile, please feel free to share your 9-11 memories in the comments section.
