Strong and free!!!

Without a doubt, things in the United States aren't 100 percent perfect. But we have so much to be thankful for! Because we ARE FREE!

There is a population that would trade places with many of us in a nano-second - problems and all; and be happy to walk miles in our shoes....Because we are FREE.

Sure - there are storms - but by those very storms, we overcome, and become FREE!

We can complain about our dispositions, or sing about our freedoms like the Meadowlark...from sun up to sundown...it sings of glory and its ability fly free!

From sea to shining sea, we are FREE because of the brave men and women who have come before, who are still standing their posts, and those whose duty is done.

May we know how much our freedom really cost.

Our emblem of freedom is the mighty eagle; soaring above our Sandhills. May we be wise enough to know the cost is enormous and beyond appreciated...daily.

You are loved veterans, from the Heart City!!!

So there was a little war with YouTube trying to get this loaded. WE were victorious, just a little bit later than I'd hoped. I was able to have it posted on https://www.facebook.com/sandhills.vacations in time to thank our veterans.

We want our veterans to know their service made a difference. We are free because of them - and freedom is something we all value greatly.

Happy Birthday America!!!!

She's celebrating 235 years today! And boy does she look great. There are few things that require attention, but for the most part, there's no better place on the planet than the good 'ol U.S. of A!!! Enjoy our freedoms. Every last one of them.

A special thank you to our Forefathers who had the foresight to institute the changes to allow our generation and future generations unprecedented freedoms that other countries can't even begin to fathom. We're not perfect by a long shot...but we are indeed FREE!
